What does “misconduct” mean?

Put simply, it means that a judge’s personal behaviour has fallen short of the high standards expected of the judiciary. 

Examples of complaints of judicial misconduct could include a judge making a racist remark, a judge falling asleep in court, or inappropriate use of social media.
