A spokesperson for the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office said:
The Lord Chancellor has, with the Lord Chief Justice’s agreement, removed Yasmin Cooper JP of the Staffordshire bench from the magistracy for failing, without a reasonable excuse, to meet the minimum sittings requirement of her appointment and for failing to maintain contact with the bench.
