A spokesperson for the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office said:

The Lord Chancellor, with the Lord Chief Justice’s agreement, has removed Manjinder Singh JP from the magistracy for failing, without a reasonable excuse, to meet the minimum sittings requirement of his role. In making their decision, they took into account that Mr Singh had failed to respond to numerous attempts to contact him.
